Laura’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering, followed by a Master’s degree in Applied Physics, which she completed in November 2023 at the University of Applied Sciences of Koblenz and the University of Koblenz. For her Master’s thesis, Laura’s path led her to the University Hospital Bonn. She is currently working there as a scientific researcher in an AI-focused radiology research group. She is also pursuing a PhD with a focus on “Artificial Intelligence in Dose Management”, while undergoing practical training to become a Medical Physics Expert. Throughout her studies, Laura gained experience as a research assistant in various roles, including mentoring girls and young women in STEM fields through the Ada-Lovelace-Project.
