Biography

Merlin Engelke is a Data Scientist at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, specializing in the development and deployment of machine learning algorithms in healthcare. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen, with a concentration in Mechatronics, and Business Informatics. Previously, Merlin worked as a Data Scientist at Campana & Schott GmbH, focusing on machine learning for business applications and leading cloud service projects. He is currently under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Felix Nensa. Merlin is skilled in C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, Python, Azure DevOps, and Docker, and holds several Azure certifications.
