Biography

Dr.-Ing. Mohamad Bdiwi holds a Ph.D. in Robotics from the Technical University of Chemnitz, with over 16 years of extensive experience in the field, including a commendable 7-year tenure in team leadership. He possesses four international patents and has published over 60 scientific papers. Dr. Bdiwi’s primary focus lies in robot control and vision, as well as human-robot collaboration. He has spearheaded numerous research and industrial projects on both national and international fronts, successfully managing the CTC-Collaborative Technology Cluster, which comprised 25+ industrial partners. This initiative concentrated on human-robot interaction and robotics applications, particularly tailored for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Dr. Bdiwi is a member of the national working group for ISO standards in the field of “Industrial robots - Safety” parallel to that he is actively involved in the Arab-German-Young Academy.
